About Me

I’ve spent over 40 years in the not‑for‑profit sector, from my early days as an idealistic youth worker to senior leadership roles, including Fundraising Director at one of the UK’s leading charities. Leading talented teams and helping raise over £130 million in a decade was both a privilege and a joy.

I am now Fundraising Director at another large organisation, continuing to lead, develop teams, and deliver growth in a complex and demanding environment.

That same passion led me to establish Goldberg Consulting in 2018, where I support charities to grow their income and impact. My work focuses on recruiting, training, and mentoring fundraisers, as well as partnering with Chief Executives and Fundraising Directors to develop practical, effective strategies.

In 2025, I made a conscious decision to expand and grow myself. I wanted to support people in a different and more personal way, building on decades of leadership, management, and mentoring experience. Training as a coach felt like a natural next step.

Since qualifying, I’ve been working with individuals to create space for clear thinking, build confidence, and support meaningful progress - bringing together everything I’ve learned over the years in a way that feels practical, grounded, and relevant.
